Eastern Regional Sales Manager

Managed Eastern Region servo business through direct sales, independent representatives and distribution.  Responsible for the application, sale and support of various motion control products including programmable digital amplifiers for brushless and brush motors, sinusoidal brushless amplifiers for torque mode, trapezoidal brushless amplifiers for torque or velocity mode and DC brush amplifiers for torque or velocity mode.

Became a valuable contributor to Copley’s new product planning and market development.  Coordinated regional and national trade shows.

Achieved in excess of 100% of plan.


National Sales Manager

Identified requirement of and successfully implemented change in corporate market focus from a $20 million/yr limit switch market to a $200 million/yr motion control market coincidental with introduction of new product lines.

Developed successful marketing and sales plans, was responsible for four direct Regional Sales Managers, a national manufacture's representative network and a national distribution network.

Instituted new distribution programs and developed sales channels through 11 new distributors in one year.

Increased sales of Industrial Automation Products Division by 46% over the prior year.


Senior Sales Engineer - North East Region

Coordinated sales efforts for intelligent motion control products in the North East Region.

Trained and managed territory account managers in motion control products.

Targeted industries and selected accounts within those industries for application and sale of products.

Responsible for feedback to marketing for product enhancements and new product development.

Achieved 161% of plan during 1990.


Sales Engineer for the Long Island and Metro New York territory

Successfully sold and applied various industrial automation products including motion control, sensors, power transmission equipment, PLC's and systems integration.

Hosted local technical seminars.

Developed and implemented successful computerized account and lead tracking system.

Developed four of the company's largest accounts.


Developed successful marketing plans, directed sales programs and regional networking programs.

Directed sales forces, administered quota reportage, organized and hosted regional sales conferences and training programs.

Implemented computerized programs such as automated contact management and lead generation through automated faxing.
